1. Ideas are currency.

With digital connectivity the distribution or propogation of an idea is instant.  The opportunity to create value is immediate.  Vivant believes with the commoditisation of the distribution channels, the real value will be in the idea and its merchandise.  The Idea Creators and Idea Developers work together to maximise an idea's value.  A bad idea delivered well is as bad as a great idea delivered badly.

2. If the User can't use it, it doesn't work.

The ultimate test of success is between the Human and Device.  If the user is engaged, recognises what to do, leans forward and enjoys the experience, Vivant has delivered success.  Conversely, if the user can't effeciently and effectively perform every single step of the interaction; it does not work. Period.

3. If it's easy, everybody would be doing it.

Its never easy to launch a product or business.  Its daunting to foresee all the risks and sometimes seeing some of them would stop most of us.  Vivant has developed a method for making hard things easy. 4. Do one thing really well.

When there is a white sheet of paper its easy to get carried away with the possibilities.  A new product with one single great feature is better than a product with 100 potentially great ones. There are countless examples of doing one thing well achieves a greater result when launching new products.

5. Never bleed on the leading edge.

Intimacy and Timing is everything. Sit too far in front and the masses may not be ready for your product.  At Vivant, our experience has led us to develop a panache for hitting market sweet spots and getting our timing right.

6. Never stop Learning.

If you stop learning you die.  It is the constant searching for What, How, Where, Who, When and Why at every step of the Way that makes us great.  Its where ideas happen (see point 1).
